Third District Congressman Walter B. Jones (R-NC) today announced a Rural Economic Development grant for $200,000 and a loan for $2,725,000 in Craven County. The recipient of these funds, CETC Employment Opportunities, Inc. will provide for the construction of a 45,000 square foot facility to house a Community Rehabilitation Program.
This project will provide job training and employment opportunities for persons with disabilities and others who may qualify for this program. CETC operates a number of programs that provide employment opportunities for many of its trainees.
" I enthusiastically support this program." Jones said today. "This is significant not just because of the size of the loan, but because of the positive impact the aid will make throughout Craven County."
"All people have the right to support themselves through a variety of jobs. With this program, our citizens with disabilities in Craven County will have the same opportunities readily available to them."
